Unique Cold Process Extraction

We have developed a unique cold process which retains both the micro and macro nutrients in which the Ascophyllum nodosum is naturally rich in.  Our raw material is hand-harvested, inspected and washed to processing. The seaweed is put through a series of grinding steps with extraction in order to optimize the release of the bioactive molecules naturally present in the algal cells and cell wall.

We do not use any Synthetic chemicals or high temperatures in our production process. Chemicals can adversely modify the natural and most beneficial composition of seaweed plants. High temperatures alter the natural structure of numerous valuable bioactive compounds which are found in such plants. Instead, our production process relies on pressure, in this way we retain all the treasured bioactive compounds found in AlgaeGreen™. The liquid extract, is then concentrated using low temperature (below 30°C) and vacuum ensuring minimal effect on our products composition.

AlgaeGreen™ has a variety of applications in Amenity and Agriculture&Horticulture
